Day 1 | L'Alphabet | Learn French in 14 Days

Day 1
The Alphabet

The very first lesson of this ebook is the familiarization of the French alphabet. Haven taken French in high school I know how to pronounce most of the letters. The French alphabet is the same as the English alphabet but the letters are pronounced in a different way.

Also in Day 1's lesson we learn about consonants, aspirated vs. non-aspirated h, punctuation and accents.

Super Simple Smoothie Bowl Recipe

Smoothie bowls are the new rage right now. They're healthy for you, taste super great and look absolutely pretty. If you do them right that is. This was my first time making a smoothie bowl. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that great, laughs. First off they didn't carry Açaí blocks at my local grocery store. Which was a bummer. Second I forgot to get a juice to blend with the fruit, so I had to use water which didn't add any flavor. Let's go through my first time making a smoothie bowl, shall we?

The 4 ingredients that I used:
H‑E‑B Mango, Papaya, and Strawberries (Frozen Fruit)
H‑E‑B Granola with Vanilla & Pecans
Hungry Buddha Coconut Chips
Water

I used my Ninja Blender and filled one of the single serve cups with the frozen fruit. I then added water to help blend but by doing this it did not enhance the flavor. So I recommend adding orange or apple juice instead of water

After blending, I just transferred it into a bowl and added my 2 toppings. Granola and coconut chips

The final result, it was again eh. Adding orange or apple juice instead of water I think would have made the bowl taste a lot better. The granola and coconut chip were yummy. I am defiantly going to do this again. I am going to make adjustments to the recipe until I find a good way to make one. I want to come up with the perfect smoothie bowl recipe so I can whip it up at anytime
I hope you all enjoyed this post

Learn French in 14 Days!

I came across this "learn French" ebook by Scott Davis and I thought I would give it a try. The French language is something that I have been trying to learn for quite a while. I took 2 years of French in high school which gave me a good exposure to the language, however I am no where near fluent.

This ebook is named "Learn French in 14 Days!" with the subtitle being "The Best Practical Guide For Beginners To Learn French Fast And Well!" Inside, the book is split up into 14 days and each day you are to study the lesson of the day. The book looks promising so I am going to test it out.

I will be doing blog post as well as video lessons on YouTube daily. And at the end of 14 days I'll share with everyone the end results and my thoughts.

Back on YouTube

So even since the end of last year I have taken a break from YouTube. Recently I have found new inspiration and have decided to give YouTube another go. For the record this is probably the 5th time that I am giving YouTube another go. In this post I want to introduce everyone to my YouTube channels that I have had for quite some time.

I currently have 3 YouTube channels. Each focusing on a certain theme. The first channel is where I post all my acting / cinema related videos that I create. The second channel I have is where I post video mainly regarding mixed martial arts and the UFC. MMA and the UFC are topics I have a great interest in, if you didn't know already. Lastly I have a channel where I post videos that I create that doesn't fit into the other 2 themes. On this channel I have videos regarding all different types of topics.

Nursing School Books

The amount of textbooks that you get in nursing school is insane.
Here are pictures of the textbooks that I have accumulated in my 9 months of nursing school.
They are too heavy to put on a bookshelf so they reside on the floor of a small alcove in my room.

We have to bring our textbooks to class and up to 3 textbooks are used depending on the class.
It is not uncommon to see nursing students utilizing rolling backpacks.
I advise you to look in to investing in a rolling backpack if you are planning in going into nursing school.
These books will ruin your shoulders and back if carried with a traditional backpack.
Plus everything else, notebooks, notecards, pens, pencils, highlighter.

If there is another aspect of nursing school you would like me to cover message me so I can write a post about it. :)

Cheers,
Whiskey
